The Girl Behind The Blog

So I know I haven't done a post in a long time and that is because I have been having a rough time. Life just caught up with me and a lot of things have been happening. So today I thought that I would post a few pictures of me, and I didn't even use Photoshop, even though I hardly use it anyways. I just felt like I needed to be real and open, I felt that I needed to be myself, and who knows who will love me when I am truly me. Now enough with the sappy talk, let's get down to business! :)

So there, you can see who I am, or at least you can see my face. But just because you can see what my face looks like that doesn't mean that you know what my heart is like. And I find that so many people misjudge me so many times, and then they don't get to know the real me. So, stick around and get to know the real me!

Not What You Thought

One thing I always have loved about Photography is the fact that you can take a picture that captures the moment at a different angle. That is my mission as a photographer is to show God's beautiful creation through a different angle, to shed a new light on it.

Bluffer's Park and Flip-flops

We went to the park today, I decided to take my camera along. So glad that I did! :) I would have taken more but I wore flip-flops, my feet were frozen.

Gone to the Birds

I'm so happy with how these pictures turned out! Can you keep a secret?? No Photoshop!! :)
I actually took these pictures before I knew how to use Photoshop so when I went back afterwards I just stared at them. I decided that they didn't need to be touched, they are beautiful on thier own. Just like you :)

Megan and the Book

This girl is so beautiful and I was so happy that I was able to do a photo shoot with her. Again I did some photoshop.

Without Photoshop

With photoshop

I don't like using Photoshop a lot but when I do it is very little. I'm hope to have posts up more often but daily life first! I will be doing a 'review' on this book on one of my other blogs, I will link it here when I have it up.

The First Post of a Photographers Journey

I use Photoshop, I confess. It is a weakness of mine, I take pictures and they are amazing by themselves, but there is always a part of me that says, "It could be better." So I pull up Photoshop and get to work. I try not to change it to much, just a little bit darker, enhance the yellow, or maybe the red. As you can see from the two yellow tree pictures below, that is what i did, made it darker, enhanced the yellow.

this is before, pretty good right?

This is after, in my opinion, way better.

I get that way with all my pictures, whether it is a portrait or just one of nature. I guess you can say that I have a natural eye for photography. I can shoot nature much easier than a human, but when I see a good shot, I take it. Here is an example.

I took this picture out-of-the-blue, I just called her name (her brother is a friend of mine) and she just turned around and I took the shot. Yes, boom. Just like that. I know it might be hard to understand but that is how I do things, wild, out-of-the-blue, insanely, random. And that picture, I didn't Photoshop. BAM! Right in your face. (My crazies are getting out)
